Id like to say, that people should realize on here sometimes, just cause your name may say "Viking Pride" or "Wild Cats1" or some other ficticious name, that doesnt mean that those people are from where their screen name says. Or even better when some person talks about "hurting another person" that people need to realize, step back and think maybe, just maybe, that person may be from the same town as the people in mention, may be friends of those in mention and in some cases on here and un known to most, are those actual people just gettin a rise and bein well, "shirt sturer" .
The lack of ability to acknowledge this, think of it or have the idea even come into mind allows everyone (and by everyone I mean, parents, coaches, teachers, principals, preachers, cops, and the almighty himself) to see just how ignorant a person can look when they do not take into consideration that those talking may, just may not be who they say they are.
Its so funny how often, (and Ill use Pound for this example) that people begin to say "oh Pound, thinks this, Pound thinks that" those majority of people who say those things, ARE NOT FROM POUND. Its fo funny cause I (and this is in the past and reason #2 and #3 I left the forum and didint post until this thing come into creation) if anyone states the facts they are gruped right with them, however when I would mention the difference (like I have) I got labeled a "traitor" a "turn coat" and someone who "turns their back on the place they are from and who helped them back in the day"...Back to the point though, just dont always look at that screen name and their location and see that it says any certain place and assume its a true fan or someone who is old enough to buy a lottery ticket. It happens so often on here, its frustrating and makes me want to leave.....yet again.

Its just real hard to see man, I get caught in the middle of it. Especially with the whole episode on the Pick em thread. That whole mess, well. Is created because one person didint or doesnt know another poster is, said some things and now looks foolish.

Just stick around on this board NOLA--there's been plenty of people ask where you went off to. I went off the board for a while for the same reasons...so I understand. I'll be the first to give you a big Amen to that. When people like you and other quality posters leave, it just brings the board down further...it's up to us to make a difference where we can I guess...even if it is to make a message board about local sports bearable for others to post on.

Some things some have to remember. No matter how hard you try you still got the few. Even when you try to warn them and give them advice.
If being from a certain area is a problem. Then i can see it bothering some.
But you also have to let things go. Being from Pound Bray and having ties to PV, well it is gonna seem odd.
But that is where you show how you can do a lot.
I know it's hard. Heck i had a cousin and nephew play at PV. Yet i was a Dawg and years later i hated to say it, but i pulled for PV when they were in the playoffs, they were family. Just a different divisions and when the Appy/PV game rolled around. Well i ask them. They said we wouldn't respect you if you didn't pull for the Dawgs, no matter your son don't play yet.
I think the advantage is we all here can disagree or so far and let it go like the old board. That won't happen on the forum now.
Ex. i tried to give some advice on the scores and was basically blown off by a kid i know and try to help. I let it go and left it alone. Some times no matter how hard you try. You have to let some learn on their own.
And honestly i don't think this forum itself is for those who can't take a tongue lashing and not act childish.
Just my thoughts though.
